We do not place by deposit order alone. At seven weeks we pair observed temperament with what each family told us about their household, then guide selection.
Our program
Small program, deliberate work, no shortcuts
Two to three litters a year means we can do the unglamorous parts properly: weight logs, scent work, sound exposure, grooming desensitization, and honest temperament notes for every puppy.
Eight weeks, week by week
Weeks 0–2
Whelping and warmth
Puppies are born in our bedroom with round-the-clock monitoring. Daily weight logs, warmth checks, and gentle Early Neurological Stimulation from day three through day sixteen.
Weeks 2–4
Eyes, ears, first footing
Early Scent Introduction continues daily. Puppies meet novel surfaces — fleece, tile, grass mats — and hear our household noise track at low volume. First nail trims happen here.
Weeks 4–6
Play, puzzles, potty starts
The pen expands into our kitchen. Wobble boards, tunnels, crinkle toys, and a potty-pad routine begin. First vaccination and deworming per our veterinarian's schedule.
Weeks 6–8
Temperament, travel, go-home prep
Formal temperament observations at seven weeks, crate rest periods, short car rides, grooming table sessions, and cat plus adult-dog introductions. Vet exam, microchip, and photos for your family.
